Hey guys! Just a quick reminder to follow yours truly on Instagram!

Dress: Donna Morgan via Marshall's (other printed dresses: 1, 2, 3 // Shoes: Steve Madden // Bag: Michael Kors (this season's version here) // Rings: H&M // Sunglasses: ASOS

I used to shy away from prints because I felt that they could be really unflattering on my body type, but lately I've been picking up printed dresses left and right (like this tropical print wrap dress). I absolutely love the exotic print on this dress, and while I would usually try to tone down a print with a pair of black shoes, I decided to play up the colors in the print with my coral ankle-strap heels. These shoes, by the way, have become one of my absolute favorite items in my wardrobe. I love a classic piece done in a not as classic color like this bright coral. I finished the look off with a few thin gold rings and my ASOS sunnies.

I hope you guys enjoy this look! What are some of your favorite prints?

New York City Art Show

My older sister is having her first art show in NYC this August and I am SO excited and so proud of her. I love New York City - so many fashionable people, so much shopping, and so much inspiration. I'm thinking about wearing the dress I got from the ASOS sale last week because 1) I'm so excited to wear it and 2) you can't NOT stand out in hot pink!

Guest Post on Pradagee: 90's Nostalgia

Hey guys!!

I'm so excited that I was asked to do a quick guest post on Pradagee, an online fashion magazine. Check out their website and my post on 90's flashback style here!

ASOS Sale Picks

ASOS Sale Picks

So I hope you all know by now that ASOS has been having an AMAZING sale as of late, so I just wanted to share with you my purchases! As it says above, the heels were not on sale, but I have been looking at them for MONTHS so I finally decided to just splurge. It didn't hurt that the other three items were $50...combined. I scored two awesome midi dresses and an amazing pair of sunnies (so similar to the WAY more expensive Miu Miu pair).  Anyway, I hope you guys check out the sale - especially because right now you can get an extra 10% off the already up to 70% off sale items with the code: TAKE10

Happy shopping!

And the Winner is...

Congrats, Jenny! E-mail me if you have any problems receiving your prize.
Let me know what you end up using your gift card for :)

And thank you to everyone who entered! It means a lot!

Shirt: Forever 21 (similar look here) // Jeans: American Eagle // Shoes: Zara (sold out, similar here) // Bag: Michael Kors (out of season, this season's version here) // Sunnies: Dolce & Gabbana (old) // "Love" Ring: Urban Outfitters // Star ring: TJ Maxx (similar here)

Okay so let me just tell you - I have been OBSESSED with these shoes for months. I pretty much stalked the Zara website for months and when they finally went on sale I don't think I've ever bought something so fast. Anyway, I decided to use the amazing lace-up heels to simply dress up the classic jeans and white-tee look. My shirt has some cool stud details on the shoulder which adds some cool flair to an otherwise super simple outfit. I polished the look off with some simple gold jewelry and a messy ballerina bun.

Let me know what you guys think in the comments below!

PS. Don't forget that the deadline to enter the Urban Outfitters giveaway is TOMORROW.

Swimsuit: ASOS // Necklace: TJ Maxx (similar here)

So I know I already did a post on my new black one piece, but literally an hour after I ordered that one, I couldn't resist ordering this one, too. Whoops. Anyway, as I said before I am totally loving the sexy vibe that modern one pieces have. Even though this one piece covers more skin than my average bikini, it just seems so much more scandalous. I think the cut-out's just sort of give the vibe that there SHOULD be fabric there, but there isn't haha. Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong, but it's hard to deny that one pieces aren't sexy these days. How are you guys feeling about one piece swimwear? Let me know in the comments!

Summer Leather

Hey guys! Since I've been so bust and haven't had time to do a real outfit post, I wanted to do a quick post about summer leather. I love my leather shorts that I wore in my Leather Shorts + Red Lips post and I got a lot of positive feedback on that look, so I decided to expand a little on my thought process. I absolutely love leather, so it only makes sense that I would like to wear it year round. It's easy to incorporate leather into your summer wardrobe - just look for more weather appropriate pieces (like shorts, short-sleeve tops, tank tops, etc) and add pops of summery colors, like that hot pink BCBG clutch above!

Turquoise Bikini: Top and bottoms both from Victoria's Secret (on sale!)
White Bikini: Top from Victoria's Secret (on sale!), bottoms from Target
Peach Bikini (my FAVORITE): Victoria's Secret
Lace cover up pants: Cynthia Rowley via TJ Maxx (similar here)

Hey guys! So this past week I got to have some relaxing time at my family's condo in Bethany Beach. It was so nice to have a break from work and just get to play in the ocean and swim around and basically just not have any obligations. I've been SO busy at work and moving out of my apartment that I haven't had time for a real outfit post yet this week so I'm just putting this up to hold you guys over - this isn't really a cohesive post just some pictures I figured I would share :)

I absolutely LOVE my lace cover up pants by Cynthia Rowley. I wear them with every swim suit because they are just so cute and comfortable. They sort of give off a boho vibe so I wore my hair braided back into a pony tail to the beach that day to keep my hair out of my face. It's such an easy and cute hair style and so practical. It's pretty much a go-to for my lazy days.

The last few pictures are just some outtakes from my Fourth of July post, but I really liked them so I figured I would throw them up here.

If any of you guys go to Bethany Beach or Ocean City, I HIGHLY recommend Bethany Blues - some of the best BBQ I've ever had!

I hope you guys are enjoying the summer months as much as I am!

xx Alexandra

Hey guys! So if you can't tell by now, I get a large portion of my wardrobe from Urban Outfitters. It is my go-to place for when I'm looking to stock my wardrobe with some fun, trendy pieces. Even though I just started this blog, I am so surprised and so thankful for those of you who visit it everyday. So, in honor of all of you readers, I'm doing a small $25 giveaway to Urban Outfitters.

To enter, do the following:

(you have to make an account [it's free!] but since Google Reader is pretty much obsolete now, bloglovin' is definitely the way to go)
2) Comment on this post with your name and e-mail address so that I have someone to e-mail the gift card to
3) This is not a required step, but if you tweet about Alexandra Rosaria with a link to this blog, and hashtag #alexandrarosaria you will get an extra entry (and therefore a better chance of winning!) *you can tweet every day for an extra entry per day*

The giveaway will be open from now until next friday, July 19th. I will no longer accept submissions after 11:59 pm on July 19th. I will randomly draw a name using a random drawing website and I will check before I draw to make sure that both steps have been completed! The winner will be announced and e-mailed their gift-card on Saturday!

Thanks, guys!

xx Alexandra

Hey guys! So lately I've been doing this hairstyle a lot for a lot of reasons but it doesn't hurt that it's really cute. It's a perfect hair style for when you're on-the-go and you don't feel like dealing with your hair being everywhere. If you're like me, it's also super convenient for when your hair is greasy and you  don't feel like washing it just yet. I only wash my hair 2-3 times a week so that happens to me often.

It's so simple to do and if you guys want a tutorial just let me know but basically all you do is:
1) part your hair down the center
2) separate your hair in half
3) Take the hair on the right side of your head and braid it downward and slightly back; secure with a clear eleastic
4) Repeat the process on the left side of your head
5) Bobby-pin the braids on top of your head, making sure to hide the ends underneath your hair
6) Voila!

I hope you guys enjoy this look! Let me know in the comments if you have any questions and also let me know if you try it out and you like it!!
