This is seriously so exciting! Thanks, Washington Life!! xx

Shorts: Urban Outfitters (sold out, similar here and one sale!!!) // Tank: H&M // Shoes: Target (similar here) // Necklace: TJ Maxx (similar here) // Sunglasses: Steve Madden c/o TJ Maxx (old, similar here) // Lipstick: Revlon

I have been looking for a pair of leather shorts for so long and this high-waisted pair from Urban Outfitters did the trick for me. Many times a designer will try to put two trends in the same piece and it doesn't work (i.e. heels + sneakers...sorry for those of you who are fans I just cannot get behind that one). High-waisted shorts + leather, on the other hand, totally works. Maybe it's just me, but wearing leather makes me feel like a rockstar. Lame I know, haha. I love the glamorous feeling of a red lip, and I really liked the combination of a simple black and white outfit with a pop of red. I kept the look simple with a white tank and these amazing black and white ankle-strap heels from Target. Sometimes I walk into Target and am totally amazed by some of the pieces they have and for so little money. I also love the accent of the gold platform on the bottom of the shoe, so I carried that through the look with my gold wishbone necklace. I finished the outfit with some aviators and messy waves in my hair. It was so hot when I finished taking these pictures I threw on my brand new one piece swimsuit and jumped in the pool! I took pictures of the suit as well, so I'll put those up tomorrow! I hope you guys enjoy the look! Leave your thoughts in the comments below!

Okay so I am definitely not the EDM-loving type of girl, but this song is AMAZING. It's like EDM meets Nashville and I cannot get enough. No, really...I've been discretely listening to it with my headphones on repeat at work ALL DAY. Take a listen, you will not be disappointed!

I'm excited to share with you all my go-to hairstyle - the braided headband. The best part about this style is that it looks complicated but is so incredibly easy! If I have time, I usually style my hair in loose curls before I do the braids (see above), but if your hair is naturally curly, wavy, or straight then you can just leave it. I have the problem that my hair will dry wavy on one side and straight on the other, so if I don't have time to curl it I will just spritz in some sea salt spray - my favorite is Wella's Ocean Spritz  Texture Spray. Once your hair is wavy (or straight or however you like it), section off a small amount of hair right above and behind your ear. (the size of the section will depend on how thick or thin you would like your braid to be). Once you have the section, braid it and repeat the process on the other side. (Tip: While I'm braiding the second side I usually hold the other braid in my mouth haha.) Once you have both braids done, pull the braid on the left side over to the right and pin it where the braid on the right side starts. Repeat this step by pulling the braid on the right side over to the left. Secure both braids with bobby pins and voila, you have a gorgeous hairstyle that took about 5 minutes!

Skirt: H&M \\ Shirt: Urban Outfitters (old/sold out) \\ Shoes: Steve Madden Realove sandals \\ Sunnies:  Urban Outfitters Cat Eye Sunnies \\ Necklace: Initial Necklace (similar here)

As soon as I saw this skirt at H&M I knew I had to have it! I actually went to two different H&M locations because they didn't have my size in the first store. I love all of the different patterns and shades of blue - plus it was an absolute steal at $17.98! I'm waring a tank with twisted straps and a low back from Urban Outfitters (old/sold out). I am absolutely loving the trend of backless shirts and dresses or even shirts with cut-outs in the back. I love this top because it shows just enough skin to be sexy without going over the top. I'm also wearing the same Cat Eye Sunnies from Urban Outfitters that I wore in my last post, which can be purchased here. I finished this look off with a messy fishtail braid, my Steve Madden Realove sandals, and a pop of pink lipstick! I used Spellbound by Covergirl, but pretty much any bright pink will do. I hope you guys like the look! Leave your thoughts in the comments below.

Dress: The DR Collection from TJ Maxx \\ Shoes: Steve Madden Realove Sandals \\ Nails: OPI You're Such a Budapest \\ Necklace: Gold Initial Necklace (similar here) \\ Ring: Urban Outfitters "Love" Ring

I am so excited to be sharing my first outfit post earlier than I expected! I work all day so I was happy to get out early to take some pictures! One trend that I am absolutely loving this summer is bright tropical prints. The more you get to know me, the more you realize that I am addicted to TJ Maxx. I go in about every other day in order to snag the new arrivals because the good stuff goes fast! Luckily, I got this gorgeous collared wrap dress in this tropical print this week by the DR Collection - and for only $39.99! Such a steal. I'm wearing my Steve Madden Realove Ankle Strap Heels, which are my absolute favorite shoe - they go with absolutely everything. I'm wearing a pair of cat-eye sunnies from Urban Outfitters and the gold "love" ring from there as well! On my nails I'm wearing OPI's You're Such a Budapest! I hope you guys enjoy the first post! Sorry the pictures aren't that great...my sister was supposed to take them for me and bailed, so I had to use a self timer!

Trend: Sexy One Pieces

Trend: Sexy One Pieces by alexandrarosaria featuring asos swimwear

1. Sia Maritima Solids One Piece from ASOS (sold out) 2. Mara Hoffman Deep V Cut Out Side One Piece  from ASOS (sold out) 3. Roxy Radiante Love Monokini from Zappos 4. Roxy Surf Essentials Ruffle One Piece from  PacSun 5. Deep Plunge Cut Out Side Side Swimsuit from ASOS 6. Fringed Cut Out One Piece with Belt Detail from ASOS (sold out)

Gone are the days when one-pieces were matronly or meant for older women and toddlers. The one-piece swimsuit has gotten a contemporary and sexy spin. Now, there are also one-pieces that seem to have less material on them than a two-piece suit, but there are also those pieces that hit right in the middle of classy and sexy. These are my picks!

This is just a preview of my new wrap dress that sports one of the summer's most popular trends: tropical prints. I love the way the colors play off of each other and the dress itself is incredibly flattering. You can NEVER go wrong with a wrap dress!

Craving Coral

Craving Coral by alexandrarosaria featuring ruffle tops

So lately I have been OBSESSED with coral in all shades. It looks good on so many people and I love the way that it plays against my tanned skin. Coral and gold is such a gorgeous combination and summer is the perfect time to show it off. The Steve Madden Marlenee heel (Bottom Left) is currently my favorite shoe and will be in my closet tomorrow thanks to my amazing boyfriend who bought them for me as a birthday present. I can't wait to put up an outfit post featuring them!!

Stripes + Boyfriend Jeans

Stripes + Boyfriend Jeans by alexandrarosaria featuring high heels

I wanted to make a quick post featuring these Steve Madden Reallove ankle-strap heels in black. They are my absolute favorite go-to shoe because they are so incredibly versatile. You can pair them with a pair of boyfriend jeans and a tee (like above) or with a cocktail dress for a night out. If I were to recommend any shoe, it would be this one! Classic and chic, you can't go wrong with a simple, black ankle-strap heel for summer!
